This two year old surprised his mother. He had gotten quiet so she came to check on him. Kids do the oddest things. He must have some strong arms. What is the oddest thing any of your kids has done? One of our kids found a bobby pin and managed to open the prongs and put them in the electric switch. He got shocked pretty bad but otherwise wasn't hurt.
Thank God, how they find things like that is hard to understand.
The other one knew he was getting a bad report card. He waited for the mail to come and volunteered to go out and get the mail. I knew something was not right. I watched out the window and saw him put an envelope in his shirt. I knew what that was. He brought the rest of the mail in and gave that to us. I gave him a space of time to turn it over while I kept him there by asking questions. He finally figured out I knew and he confessed.
Well the report card was bad but it was not as bad as learning he was trying to keep that info from us. He was grounded of course. We Love our kids dearly but they will still surprise you for the good and the bad. Keep an eye on them and pray because that is the only way to help you to help them to become responsible people!
