BLENDED CULTURES MAKE A BETTER CONGREGATION
By Mark Flippo
Each culture brings into your local congregation it’s own unique richness. I was talking with a black pastor friend of mine and I asked him why the differences between our two cultures. I said congregations of all white people can be a little starchy. He started explaining some of the differences and it started to make sense to me! When congregations are missing one or more cultures they lack what GOD wants most for us. HE wants unity in the body. The best services I have ever been in, have been mixed cultures. We compliment each other. Bring out the best of all worlds to worship GOD with. Together we are strong! Thank GOD for diversity. Let’s put aside anything that separates us and work together to build the Kingdom of GOD. GOD Bless!
