But Mom!

"But mom" never went anywhere at my house. Yes ma'am and no ma'am got a lot more mileage. As adults, do you ever remember using this phrase? Did it get you what you wanted? Has it worked out for your children, nieces or nephews? No matter how we try, our parents knew when we were trying to feed them a line of baloney! You would think that our kids would learn something from all the stories we tell them. It just seems to go over their heads! Never give up on them even when they are grown! Jesus has never given up on us and we are adults most of the time. By the way, don't try and use "But Dad" on Him! It will never work!
