Mutated Ocean Life?
By Mark Flippo
The pink skinned goblin shark has a distinctive, elongated flat snout and is the only surviving representative of the family Mitsukurinidae, a lineage some 125 million years old. The sea pig is the common name for Scotoplanes, which are deep sea creatures. With their fat bodies and tubed feet which look like legs they look pretty pig like hence the name! Upper right is the giant Isopod found in the cold, deep waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans. Middle left is the Pacu found in the streams and rivers of the Amazon and Orinoco basins and have straight, human like, teeth. Mantis shrimp are marine crustaceans, which can grow to around 10cm (4-inches)in length although the largest ever caught was a whopping 46cm(18-Inches). Loser left is the Japanese Spider Crab. Red-lipped batfish are closely related to rosy-lipped batfish, which are found near Cocos Island off the coast of Costa Rica. This fish is mainly known for its bright red lips. Batfish are not good swimmers; they use their highly adapted pectoral fins to "walk" on the ocean floor. Lower right a lamprey is a jawless fish, which is known for boring into the flesh of other fish to suck on blood although 18 out of 38 known species of lampreys are in fact parasitic.
A fish with human teeth, how creepy! A red lipped fish I am totally weirded out! I was sure there couldn't be anything new to be seen in this world after all of the research I have done in the last couple of years! I have searched the world over.
God surprised me again! He rocks my imagination again and again! Some of these are completely new to me! There are probably more new things and I will keep looking. For some reason God never runs out of surprises! What was the last thing He surprised you about? Don't ever give up on expecting the unexpected when it comes to our Creator! Praise God!
