4 Years Of Carving
By Mark Flippo
Chinese artist Zheng Chunhui took four years to complete this wood carving which is a copy of a famous painting. The piece measures, 12.286 meters long (40.3 ft), is 3.075 meters tall (10 ft) at it highest point, and is also 2.401 meters wide (8ft) and in 2013 Guinness book of worlds' records declared it the longest carved artwork!
Such patience! Would you be able to do something like this? If you can then start! If you can't, you can still admire it! I would want to pull my hair out after several hours. By the way that is not how mine disappeared. I am sure it was gravity! Hair stopped coming out of the top of my head and started growing out my ears, my nose and my eyebrows are curling, Yikes! Now back to topic. He must have had a grand vision of the painting he was copying. Changing something from a one dimensional to a four dimensional is quite a feat! I hope God has blessed his efforts. Whatever you do, do it unto the Lord Jesus! It will have a long lasting effect!
