Monkey Slug
By Mark Flippo
Monkey slug on the left. On the right is Dalceridae Slug (also known as the jewel slug)
I always think of slugs as a single colored thing that dies on my sidewalk. I have learned something new today! Slugs are the lava form of moths! Like caterpillars are of butterflies! Maybe I had forgotten. The good thing about getting older is you can learn something new often, even if it is the same thing again! The more you learn the more unique this world gets to be to you!
The Monkey slug looks more like a spider than it did a slug to me. This world is fascinating! I look the world over for anything I can find that is an interesting lesson about God! Sometimes it can take a week or more for each lesson! It is so worth the work! I am learning more about nature and ways of God! He gives us so many examples of ways He tries to communicate with us. We will never understand Him fully, but I am going to keep learning as long as He will allow me to!
