Big Bud!
By Mark Flippo
Enter Big Bud, the first farm tractor designed from the same principles used in heavy mining. Even to this day, Big Bud draws a crowd of onlookers in the “Real America.” The tractor in the photo above is nicknamed the “525/50.” Why? Because it has a staggering 525 HP ready to go. It's 12 wheels provide the traction required to dig 21 deep furrows at once – even through thick clay earth. It wasn’t too long ago when farmers used an ox to dig one furrow at a time. But thanks to technological innovations like Big Bud, farmers can produce a lot more food for everyone to eat. Filmed from the sky, we see Big Bud plowing the land in Alvordton, OH on August 8, 2015. Even though it’s been years since the big piece of equipment was first released, you’ll see the crowd still gathering to watch it in action.
Things have changed over the years. My dad when he lived at home in Arkansas guided a single plow behind a single horse. When I was growing up on the farm we had a small John Deer tractor that pulled a four plow behind it. My daddy would have been thrilled to see how farming has changed!
Big Bud is like a supercomputer for farmers! I would love to see it in action! To Plow 21 rows is just unheard of. God is giving us the understanding to help care for the overpopulation of the Earth! Overpopulation is a huge problem. We can deal with it or God can. One way or another it will happen! God is big on His rules being followed. Start with the Ten Commandments, then work your way to the Beatitudes! By then you better have some corrected attitudes!
