The Original Stairmaster
By Mark Flippo
Hawaiian Island of Oahu, this staircase, which reaches a peak of nearly 3,000 feet, is forbidden to climb by the Hawaiian government due to liability issues and land access problems.
This would be a workout that would be unbeatable. I don't think any machine would work you as much as this. Just my opinion. Walking down 3,000 feet is one thing but climbing it would be extremely difficult! Talk about an extreme sport! I am tired just looking at the photo! This world offers a lot to everybody. Whatever your energy level and nerves can take, it is out there somewhere. I was sorry to hear about the deaths of two thrill seekers. They fell off of a tightrope. My condolences to their families. It is always hard to lose a loved one. It takes time to cope. It reminds me of this very long ladder. It takes a long time to get better at climbing, but you will get there.
